Click! Goes the Shears Boys Click! Click! Click!
Wide is his blow and his hands move quick,

And curses the old snagger with the bare-bellied joe.

If you don’t understand that, don’t worry. It is an Australian Sheep Shearing Shed song from the 19th Century. I won’t try to explain it, it would take too long. But what I do want to talk about is CLICK!, an event by those Jugalbandi two, Bee and Jai.

CLICK! is a theme-based photography event. Each month, entries are invited based on a culinary ingredient or concept, and this month’s concept is “AU NATUREL“.

It’s Spring in the northern hemisphere, Autumn in the southern. Au Naturel this month celebrates the abundance and elegance in the produce aisle and farmers’ markets that these seasons bring. The colours, the textures, the beauty of food.

Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own; and from morning to night, as from the cradle to the grave, it is but a succession of changes so gentle and easy that we can scarcely mark their progress.” ~ Charles Dicken

Au Naturel celebrates unadulterated food. No recipes are necessary (although they can be included), the focus is on the photo.

The wonderful Bee and Jai asked me to help judge this month’s (April) competition. I was so excited to be asked, and am looking forward to many many wonderful entries. My companion judges are:
