I’d never heard of Tastespotting before, but I’m curious now! :D

It was a wonderful timewaster and temptress of food. FoodGawker is similar – take a look.

I’ve read the updates on their site and keep refreshing their page twice a day ever since :)
That lentill soup would make a great Tastespotting photo ;)

Thanks, Lore. I can’t wait to hear the story of Tastespotting. It has been a well managed campaign. I wonder how the retained site will work. Meanwhile, FoodGawker and FP Daily go from strength to strength, and I don’t think that they will disappear from the scene.

TasteSpotting will be back up shortly! The web is definitely a big enough place for everyone to play nicely together :) And most definitely will want to see your stuff up there!

I was quite excited when you left your comment – thank you very much – but now tastespotting has disappeared altogether. What IS going on?

And just like that it’s back! It’s so wonderful that they were able to retain all of those recipes. It’s also great that now we all have a few references to choose from. Yay all around!

I am so interested to see how it will go. FoodGawker goes from strength to strength. Food Porn Daily is great. Tastespotting is not quite up to the same standard as the previous one, yet. From a business perspective and a human perspective, it is very interesting to me. When you take something that is loved away, we grieve, then we get over it and find something else. From a business perspective, if you wait too long until you bring something back (there are many examples of this) you lose your customers because they have found a replacement. hehehe. But yes, YAY all round, and I watch with interest…
