Seasonal Cooking for July: wherever you are.

Roses

Mid winter, and yet the skies are still blue, the sun shines, the leaves on the trees, those still hanging on, glisten as the remains of the overnight rain catches the winter sun. The eucalyptus are flowering, some early bulbs are pushing through the ground. Promises of the spring to come, even though there are still a couple of months of possibly cold weather to come.

In other parts of the world, summer is in full bloom and temperatures are record-breaking.  Where ever we are, we need good food.

Some inspiration for you, no matter which hemisphere you are in.
