The combination of strong ginger flavours with lemongrass is quintessential Balinese. This recipe from a trip to Bali is a tea that still features often at our place. Not only is it such a peaceful tea, engendering bliss and well being, it is great for the appetite and digestive system.
Balinese Ginger and Lemongrass Tea
1 lemon grass stalked crushed and cut into 2 cm pieces
1 tspn honey (optional)
2 – 4 cups boiling water
Infuse the herbs in the water with the honey.
Serve and sip slowlyRelax and be at peace.
