Try this tea/herbal infusion, but not before bed. It is slightly diuretic so may disturb your sleep. It is another of the great Spring Detox teas, all of which are a variation on a theme. This is one of the first such teas that I made, and was instantly aware of its properties. Oh the power of herbs and spices.

Fennel, Cardamom and Coriander Herbal Tea
half a dozen cardamom pods, crushed
0.25 tspn coriander seeds
0.25 tspn fennel seeds
2- 4 cups boiling water
Optional: 1 tspn jaggery or other sweetness, up to 1 Tblspn
if you like things sweet
Combine all ingredients and allow to seep in boiling water for 8 minutes. Alternatively simmer on low heat for 8 minutes to extract maximum flavour.
