This is a Spring time Chai, with saffron and jasmine flowers. I hope you enjoy it.
Take some black tea and simmer with any combination of young ginger, fresh mint, new Tulsi leaves, fresh Jasmine flowers, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, almond powder, nutmeg gratings, saffron, black pepper, ginger root, a pinch salt, a touch of ghee and turmeric powder or root. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Add a cup or two of milk and some jaggery or brown sugar, and simmer again for 5 minutes. Strain, serve and enjoy.
