Recently we have been making tomato salads – we love to make them in Autumn as Autumn tomatoes are so flavoursome. Today’s recipe is a reminder that simple is often the best. Oh yes.
Tomato Salad with Lemon or Lime
Take tomatoes, slice them and arrange on a plate. Sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper and a little sugar, to taste. Squeeze some lemon or lime juice over the slices and drizzle over good quality olive oil. Scatter over grated lemon or lime zest and serve at once.
